ROYAL ALBERT HALL, WEDNESDAY 19th MARCH 2014
Celebrating the birthday of the choir’s Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of 25 years, the CLC joins the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and massed choirs for a special performance of this great work. The role of Gerontius is sung by Andrew Staples (“surely the most gifted and promising English tenor for at least a generation” Spectator), with soloists Diana Moore (mezzo-soprano) and Jacques Imbrailo (baritone).
