Occupation…

Town Planner working on major infrastructure projects, currently working for ‘High Speed 1’, but previously spent seven years working on the London 2012 Olympic Park.

Joined CLC in…

2007 – so this is my 10th season with the choir!

When I’m not working or singing, I…

Am mainly running around looking after our two children. We have a busy family life especially as my wife recently became an MP! I also love running and hill walking (when I get the chance) and supporting Luton Town FC.

Best CLC memory…

So many… Probably singing the Brahms ‘Requiem’ in the Barbican (although carols in the Albert Hall is always fun!).

Top 3 Pieces of Music…

Elgar’s ‘Cello Concerto’ (I used to play the cello); Herbert Howells’ ‘Collegium Regale Magnificat and Nunc Dimitis’ (I was a cathedral chorister); Van Morrison, ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ (reminds me of my wife and was the first dance at our wedding).
