The City of London Choir has a lively recording schedule and has achieved considerable popular and critical success.

 

The Nation's Favourite Carols has appeared the in the Christmas charts every year since its release (for Decca in association with Classic FM) in 2017, and In Terra Pax: A Christmas Anthology  (Naxos, 2009) has become a classic Christmas disc, with tracks played regularly on Radio 3. 

Flowers of the Field, recorded for Naxos in 2014 with Jeremy Irons, baritone Roderick Williams and the London Mozart Players, went straight to the top of the Specialist Classical Chart in November 2014 and has been widely praised in the national press.

Beethoven’s Der glorreiche Augenblick with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, In Terra Pax with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Holst’s The Coming of Christ and John Gardner’s Cantata for Christmas and Ballad of the White Horse for EM Records have all have been well-received, with Der glorreiche Augenblick getting a five-star review from BBC Music Magazine.
