The 2020 coronavirus pandemic forced us to re-think the way we performed for a few months. The first fruit was our self-tape recording of Elgar’s As Torrents in Summer, mixed and edited by Ben Frost and dedicated to the memory of our friend, tenor Alvin Chua.

When social distancing was allowed, we made a number of recordings in St Giles Cripplegate:

Elgar’s The Shower
Stanford’s The Blue Bird
Finzi’s My Spirit Sang All Day
Elgar’s As Torrents in Summer
Sterndale Bennett’s Come Live with Me

You can hear us singing live in pre-pandemic conditions, also in St Giles Cripplegate:

William Harris: Faire is the Heaven
Britten: Rejoice in the Lamb
aughan Williams: Let all the World (Antiphon)
Walton: Agincourt Song
Elgar: The Shower

With thanks to Roger Way for the filming.

And here are a few samples from a couple of our CDs. For full information about our CD releases, please visit our Album Details page.
