Pianist Timothy End has been the CLC’s regular rehearsal accompanist since 2010.
Tim is a multiple first-prize winning accompanist and was awarded both the Pianist Prize and Jean Meikle Duo Prize with the baritone Jonathan McGovern at the Wigmore Hall Song Competition in September 2011. He specialises in the art of song accompaniment and chamber music.
Recent engagements have taken him to Washington D.C., New York, Cologne, Graz and Budapest. He performed at the inaugural Placido Domingo Festival in Seville in a Broadway programme with the American sopranos Angel Blue and Micaela Oeste, which was repeated in Paris at UNESCO for Placido Domingo. Timothy also performed at a Royal Overseas League Gala held at St James’s Palace in front of Princess Alexandra, and was the pianist for Diana Soh’s operetta The Boy Who Lived Down The Lane with Size Zero Opera in Singapore.
Timothy regularly works with the Ferio Saxophone Quartet and they will be recording their first CD together in April 2019 to be released on the Chandos label.
